DescriptionWhen the members of the Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club enlisted and went to serve overseas during WWII they took this Bondi flag with them. Everywhere they went, and in the battalions in which they served they added a patch to the Bondi flag, bringing it back to the Life Saving Club when the war ended. Many of the patches are shoulder patches. It now resides at Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club. Whenever they went they had surf carnival and had surf related events.
